AK
By suits
Nines give back the Broadway blocker that tens enjoy, so the edge slips to about 55%, but the story does not change: pair ahead, six outs chasing. What changes in real play is the range math around the shove. Nines are right at the bottom of the pairs most players will stack off with preflop, and against an opponent whose all-in range is exactly big cards plus bigger pairs, the nines are either flipping happily or crushed 4-to-1. That is why position and read matter more to nines than the raw matchup number does. Against ace-king specifically, take the flip and like it.
Quick tip: The smaller your pair, the more of your equity depends on it staying an overpair to nothing. Nines love races, not multiway pots.
