Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
What Poker Shark is
These terms are an agreement between you and Poker Shark LLC, a Texas company ("Poker Shark"), which runs the Poker Shark website and app.
Poker Shark is a poker training application. You play practice hands against modeled opponents, review your decisions, and study recommendations. All chips, bankrolls, and stakes inside the app are play money. Nothing in Poker Shark can be wagered, won, or cashed out. Poker Shark is not a gambling service.
Your account
You sign in with Google or an email address so your hands, stats, and progress are saved. You are responsible for activity on your account. One account per person; don't share accounts.
You can delete your account at any time. The data policy describes what we store and how deletion works.
Price
Poker Shark is free during early access. Before we charge for anything, we will publish the price and what it includes, and nobody is charged without choosing a paid plan. Price changes apply going forward, never retroactively.
Acceptable use
Poker Shark is a study tool for use between sessions. You may not use it, or anything derived from it, for real-time assistance while playing live or online poker.
You also may not scrape, copy, or extract the opponent models, recommendations, or training data; probe, disrupt, or overload the service; or resell access to it. We can suspend or close accounts that do any of this.
Your content
Hand histories you submit and custom opponents you create stay yours. You give us permission to process them to provide the features you asked for, such as analyzing a hand, and to use submitted hand histories to refine our opponent types. We do not sell your data; the data policy has the details.
Using Poker Shark in your own content
Coaches and creators may use screenshots, clips and share links of their own hands and analysis in their own content, including paid courses and videos, with credit to Poker Shark. This does not allow copying or extracting the opponent models, ranges or training data in bulk, or reselling access.
Our content
The app, the opponent models, the recommendations, the research, and everything else that makes up Poker Shark belong to Poker Shark LLC. Using the app does not transfer any of it to you.
Poker Shark® is a registered trademark of Poker Shark LLC.
No promises about results
Poker Shark is training. It is provided as is, and while we work hard to make the recommendations accurate, we do not guarantee any particular result at the tables. Poker involves variance and risk; decisions you make in real games, and their outcomes, are yours.
The scope and limitations page describes what the product does and does not cover.
Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, Poker Shark is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. If a change is significant we will say so on the site or by email. Continuing to use Poker Shark after a change means you accept the updated terms.
