Poker Shark is run by Poker Shark LLC, a Texas company, which is responsible for your data. Questions go to support@pokrshark.com.

When you create an account, we store your email address and a display name. When you play, we store your game data: hand histories, session stats, and performance metrics. If you use Google sign-in, we receive your name and email from Google, nothing else.

If you join the early-access list on this site, we store the email address you give us and, only if you choose to add it, your phone number. We use that number to send one text message when early access opens, and for nothing else.

If a hand you describe or import includes other players' screen names, those names can be stored with the hand and shown on its share link. Remove them before you share.

If you add your phone number when you join the early-access list, Poker Shark sends you one automated text message when early access opens. Adding a number is optional and is not required to join.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also email support@pokrshark.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We never sell your email address or phone number. We do not share your phone number or your consent to receive texts with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

Your data powers your personal analytics: VPIP, PFR, aggression stats, profit tracking, and leak detection. The Adaptive opponent reads your saved Arena and Circuit hands, and hands you import, to change how it plays against you. Practice hands are not used. We may also use hand histories you submit to refine our other opponent types.

Some features send data to outside services that run them: Groq turns a hand you describe in words into a hand history. OpenRouter sends hand questions and Shark Vision explanations and guidance to the model provider selected for that feature, sharing your questions, conversation context and relevant hand and opponent details. Current models include Anthropic and DeepSeek. The data policy lists every service and what it receives.

We do not sell or rent your data. We use it only to run and improve Poker Shark.

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and localStorage to cache your preferences and game state. Google Analytics (GA4) measures website and app usage through page views and events, with device details and cookie identifiers. App events can include your account ID. Inside the app, PostHog records how features are used and links those events to your account email.

Google Fonts supplies the website and app fonts, and jsDelivr delivers the app's sign-in library. Loading these resources sends your IP address and browser request headers to those services.

Your account and game data are stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database. All connections use TLS encryption. Row-level security ensures you can only access your own data.

You can export or delete your data at any time by contacting us at support@pokrshark.com. Account deletion removes all associated data permanently.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via the app or email.
