What data we store

Account data

Email address, display name, avatar selection, and preferences (theme, settings).

Game data

Every hand you play in the arena is recorded: hole cards, board cards, actions, pot sizes, and outcomes. Session-level stats (hands played, profit, duration) are also stored.

Drill data

Practice hands, takeover branches, and starred hands are saved to your account.

Villain data

Custom villain profiles you create, including any hand histories you upload to refine them.

Analytics data

Aggregated stats derived from your play: VPIP, PFR, aggression frequency by street, showdown tendencies, and profit curves.

What we do not store

We do not store payment information (Patreon handles subscriptions). We do not store IP addresses beyond what's needed for active session management. We do not record screen activity, keystrokes, or anything outside the app.

How your data improves the product

Our bots are trained on a foundation of 33 million+ live poker hands. Aggregated user hand data contributes to ongoing refinement — more data means more accurate, human-like bot behavior. When you upload hands through the custom villain feature, that data is used to build the opponent profile you requested.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties. We do not monetize it in any way other than improving the analytics and training tools you use inside Poker Shark.

Data retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.
